Minnetonka Public Schools Named a Top Workplace

The Minnetonka School District has been named one of the Top 150 Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune, which recognizes the most progressive organizations in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and satisfaction. Minnetonka Public Schools is ranked #25 in the "Top Large Companies" category and is the top-ranked public school district.

"This recognition is a reflection on how much we value our staff," reported Superintendent Dennis Peterson. "Our District is headed in a positive direction, and employees provide ongoing input and innovation that ensures we continue to be a District of excellence."

The District is home to 1,400 employees—including teachers, principals, office assistants, paraprofessionals, custodians, nutrition services staff, technology staff and administrators—who all share the commitment to providing world-class, child-centered excellence.
