MMW presents the 6th Grade Musical: Willy Wonka Kids

Minnetonka Middle School West’s 2021 6th Grade Musical, Willy Wonka Kids, is playing at MMW on December 3 and 4. A fantastical tale based on Roald Dahl’s bestselling novel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, this play is the perfect show for kids of all ages!

About Willy Wonka Kids

Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka Kids follows the adventures of Charlie Bucket during Willy Wonka’s golden ticket contest. Willy Wonka hides five golden tickets in his famous chocolate candy bars, and whoever finds them wins a free tour of Willy Wonka’s Factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. As the children embark on the grand tour of the Wonka Factory, they must follow Wonka’s rules, or face the consequences. Songs include: “The Golden Age Of Chocolate,” “The Candy Man,” “(I've Got A) Golden Ticket,” “At The Gates (Pure Imagination)” and more.

*Masks will be required for this performance

Tickets: $5 for students, $10 for adults/seniors. Tickets purchased online will be available for pickup at the door.

On May 9, Minnetonka Schools hosted the Midwest Chinese Bridge Competition for students in grades K–6, welcoming competitors from across the Midwest. The event provided young learners with an opportunity to demonstrate their Chinese language skills and cultural knowledge.
